WOW! This Hidden Courtyard Was A Complete Mess!

For years, this hidden courtyard had been slowly reclaimed by nature. With almost no direct sunlight reaching the ground, algae, moss, weeds, and years of built-up grime had completely taken over, leaving the entire space dark, slippery, and almost unrecognisable. When I arrived, the homeowner wasn't sure if it could ever look the way it once did. What should have been a relaxing outdoor space had become unusable, with the original patio disappearing beneath layers of organic growth. Over the course of the day, I set out to restore the courtyard, uncover its original colours, and prove that it could be transformed without the need for expensive replacement. From removing thick algae and stubborn moss to revealing paving that hadn't been properly seen in years, this became one of the most satisfying courtyard transformations I've ever completed.
