Macacos ameaçados de extinção chegam ao Zoológico de São Paulo

The white-fronted spider monkeys Formiga, Cigarra, and Cupim traveled over 2,000 kilometers from Mato Grosso to the São Paulo Zoo. They were rescued due to fires and accidents and are threatened by the loss of their natural habitat in the Amazon. At the zoo, the animals will participate in a breeding program for the species.
