Modelando una VASIJA ESCULTORICA que puede Germinar Semillas

In this video, I share the process of modeling a very special sculptural vessel: a ceramic piece designed to transform over time thanks to nature 🌱 The idea behind this piece is that it won't be completely finished until the seeds germinate and begin to grow on it. Thus, the piece will change its appearance over the days, incorporating life, moisture, and real sprouts as part of the design. In addition to functioning as an artistic object, this vessel is also intended as a germinator for edible seeds and sprouts. To make it, I used a low-fire white clay, aiming to maintain a certain porosity that allows the necessary moisture for germination to be retained. In this project, I also experimented with a different way of creating: instead of planning every detail beforehand, I let the volumes emerge more intuitively and spontaneously during the modeling process. This video is the first part of a series of pieces with the same concept. Later, I'll show you how the finished vessel turned out and how it evolves as the seeds grow.
