In this video, I continue the process of this ceramic piece that I previously modeled, focusing on a key stage: burnishing 🏺🔥✨ I show you step by step how I carry out this technique to achieve a smooth, delicate surface with a natural shine, using different tools and resources that you can apply in your own work. Burnishing is a process that requires time and patience, but the results are truly worth it. I also share a very important tip about firing: how temperature directly influences the final shine of the piece and the range I use in my kiln to preserve that finish. Later on, I’ll show you the final result after firing, and you’ll also be able to see other pieces I made using this same technique.
