July 31, 2023 (Photo Date) For my 30th mountain climb this year, I climbed Mount Takakusa in Yaizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture. I recently climbed Mount Mankanbo, also part of the Yaizu Alps, and I've really grown to love Mount Takakusa. The Yaizu cityscape below looks so close and magnificent. I'd also like to visit Mount Hanazawayama and Choseniwa, and once the weather cools down, I'd like to try a traverse.
