The Solway Wild Lands project has officially launched! 🦬

Thank you to Victoria Ward and Ryan McColl for sharing this incredible short film with us 🦬🦫 'With the recent announcement of Castletown's 5 year long project, we are happy to share our involvement in filming the pinnacle of the project, where years of dedication has paid off. Britain is one of the most nature depleted countries on the planet. With conservationists and farmers fighting for the correct way to use the the land, one estate in the north of Cumbria have initiated a project to manage habitats for profit and biodiversity. The reintroductions of bison began in Kent, and the project began as a partnership between Wildwood Trust and Kent Wildwood Trust. Since then, this project has involved Castletown estate, and our film in particular features Wallington National trust too. With the return of ecosystem engineers that once pioneered ecosystems, Castletown hope for an extraordinary transformation. We hope this project is enlightening and provides the facts to the news. An initiative such as this is always going to kickstart controversy between involved parties, but we hope to inspire and share appreciation for the hard work of those involved. This was our graduate project, but as with previous works, wildlife filmmaking means so much more to us than an assignment. It truly is the joy, passion, dedication and interest that drives us.
