Last year, I happened to see よみぃ’s rendition of this piece and felt that his approach was very different. He tried to recreate the parts that are impossible for humans to play, and also mixed in “La Campanella” (the bell), which is my favorite part. Not only is it fast, but it also contains many repeated notes. As the piece progresses, endurance becomes a major challenge, so it heavily tests how relaxed your hands can stay. The tempo markings in the sheet music are for reference only. This piece has a feeling of gradually speeding up, so the tempo is actually very flexible. You can completely decide how much to increase the speed based on your own technical level. The fingering and pedal markings are also my personal references.
