It Nearly Didn't Happen — Fastpacking Alone Across Andalusia

Day 2 of the GR-140 — and only one of us could walk it. After the food poisoning that ended Day 1, Sarah went back alone to fastpack the stage from Laujar de Andarax to Padules, across the Almerían Alpujarras. We're Steve & Sarah — welcome to Trails & Adventures. The GR-140 was struck off the maps years ago. Now someone's quietly re-marking it — but the new route isn't finished, the old one's half-gone, and Sarah has to work out which to trust with no one to check it against. White villages, a lost drover's track, a river crossing, and a landscape where the ground won't stay still. The map said 20 kilometres. It wasn't 20 kilometres. New episodes every Saturday. Subscribe to follow all 8 days, from the Sierra Nevada to the sea at Cabo de Gata. ⛰️ CHAPTERS 00:00 Day 2 — What Happened 00:27 Setting Off Alone 01:31 A Trail That Was Erased 03:37 Old Route or New? 04:31 Into the Andarax Valley 11:07 The Solar Farm Problem 14:10 Almócita 15:40 Padules — Day 2 Complete 📍 ROUTE GR-140 "Summit to Sea" — Day 2 of 8 Laujar de Andarax → Padules · ~22km The full route: Puerto de La Ragua (2,000m) → Cabo de Gata · 175km 🎵 Music: Epidemic Sound ▶️ YouTube:    / @trailsadventures   📸 Instagram:   / trails.adventures   👍 Facebook:   / trails.adventures   #GR140 #Fastpacking #Andalusia #SpainHiking #Alpujarras
