Jaén — The Spanish City Nobody Visits

Jaén, Spain — one of Andalusia's most historic cities and one of its least visited. We spent a Sunday exploring the Arab Baths, the cathedral, the old Jewish quarter and the castle high above the city. Free entry, no crowds, and views that will stop you in your tracks. After four days hiking / running / fastpacking the Camino Mozárabe from Moclín through olive groves and ancient drover paths, we arrive in Jaén for a well-earned rest day. What we found surprised us. New episode every Saturday — subscribe and join us for the next adventure 👣 What we visit: Plaza de Santa María, Jaén — the Catedral de la Asunción, one of the great cathedrals of Spain Puerta del Ángel, Calle Puerta del Ángel, Jaén — the last surviving gate of the old city walls, built in 1646 Fuente del Lagarto de Jaén, C.
