What Do Sabro Hops Taste Like? SMaSH Beer Experiment

This week, we fulfill a viewer SMaSH beer request with a tasting review of a Sabro hops SMaSH beer!!! This one was a tough one to characterize for Mike. He always defaults to some weird vegetal things when he can't place the flavor profile. Mike got some fruitiness, but felt that it also had some bell pepper and or some green onion in there. The actually descriptors list out lime zest and coconut along with some other citrus notes. We both were then able to agree on the coconut aspect but only with the prompting would Mike have gotten there. Take that as you want but we found this hop to be interesting but fairly mild in this application. Perhaps blowing it out with 4+ounces in the recipe would make those descriptors stand out.
