What Do Adeena Hops Taste Like? SMaSH Beer Experiment

We dive into Adeena Hops this week for the next SMASH beer video. Adeena hops from Yakima Valley Hops are reported to have been bred for disease resistance and production vigor with hints of herbal spice character. The descriptor mentions notes of lemon and citrus. In our trial there was very little of that herbal/spice nobel character. It seemed to be all lemon zest with some noteable pith as well. This hop would probably work very well in any application where you wanted to accentuate that classic American C-hop character.
