Make pumps Seven building fire Leeds

26/05/2025 Around 04:25 Fire Control received multiple calls to a building on fire and mobilised 3 fire engines to the scene. Multi-occupancy commercial premises approx. 50m x 20m 2nd floor 100% involved and ground floor 50% involved. On arrival, initial crews requested 5 fire engines and 1 aerial appliance - this also triggered supporting resources and officers. Shortly afterwards, they requested a further fire engine and aerial appliance. Incident commanders sectorised the incident into 4 sectors to provide a spread of resources and effective span of control. 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reels, 8 large jets and 2 aerials used throughout this incident. West Yorkshire Police, Yorkshire Ambulance Service, Northern power and Northern Gas Networks all attended this incident in support of our operations.
