How to Paint an Impressionist Marsh Scene with Soft Pastels

In this video I demonstrate how I painted a soft, dreamy marsh landscape using soft pastels. I started out with a hard pastel underpainting liquefied with isopropyl alcohol; once that dried, I layered acrylic inks and soft pastels on top to create my marsh scene! Supplies used: *UArt 400 sanded paper *Liquitex acrylic inks *Synthetic paintbrush *Hard pastels (Prismacolor NuPastel) *Soft pastels (various brands) *Foam pipe insulation Just a little note....
