Pastel Painting Demonstration with Alcohol Underpainting by Colette Savage
Pastel painter, Colette Savage, does a pastel landscape demonstration for a local art group. This video was created for a virtual meeting for the Penfield Art Association. In this video, Colette discussed the surface she is painting on, protecting one's finger tips from the coarse surface of the paper, using an underpainting to enrich the colors of the pastels, and how to apply layers of pastels to create the lively surface that pastel paintings are known for.
