3 Days Hiking Alone in Arctic Sweden - Off-Trail Through Muddus in the Fall #hikingadventures
Backpacking 3 Days Alone Off-Trail in Arctic Wilderness, Hiking through the heart of Muddus National Park, Muddusleden, Muddusfallet and off-trail. My plan for this hike was to find an off-trail route through the wild center of Muddus, following a route I had planned on my maps. Swamps are hard to plan through without any beta, so I was very curious and excited to see if this would work. My love for Sweden is steadily growing, there is something about these remote areas of the arctic that calls me to go explore. Sweden probably has more real wilderness than Norway, and this 3 day off trail backpacking trip shows some of that. I am using my Marmot UL tent for this trip, along with my Hyperlite Mountain Gear Southwest backpack, La-Sportiva shoes, Primus Stove, Western Mountaineering sleeping bag, La Sportiva shoes, Therm-a-rest sleeping pad, Arcteryx, Devold and Norrøna clothing and some more stuff. I talk in my videos, so if you want silent hiking you should probably look for other channels, but there is still plentty of relaxing scenery, all in 4k HDR. My original channel @NorwegianXplorer is now focused on my Van and Storm videos, so I wanted a clean new channel for my backpacking trips where I go back to my basics with no sensational storms and weather, unless that should occur on my backpacking trip. My gear is the basics I have used for a long time, Marmot tent, HMG backpack, Primus Stove, Western Mountaineering sleeping bag, La Sportiva shoes, Therm-a-rest sleeping pad, Arcteryx, Devold and Norrøna clothing and some more stuff. You can find my maps at my patreon page patreon.com/norwegianxplorer About me: My name is Jarl, I am known as Norwegian Xplorer @NorwegianXplorer and I roam my favorite parts of the world with my camera trying to capture the magic I see for you to enjoy and be inspired by. I have been hiking and backpacking Norway and the US extensively and some of my favorite areas are Utah, the Escalante and Dirty Devil areas, the Grand Canyon in Arizona, The Sierra in California, Greater Yellowstone as well as Jotunheimen, Lofoten, Femundsmarka, Rondane and Arctic Norway, and Arctic Sweden. Hope you enjoy my new channel, I appreciate everyone who takes the time to watch and get inspired by my adventures! #norwegianxplorer #hiking #hikingadventures #backpacking #adventure #wilderness #arctic #sweden #lapland #Muddus
