Join me on an unforgettable autumn wildcamping and hiking adventure through Glaskogen Nature Reserve in Sweden, where I take on a remote trail in the southwest part of the park, facing wind, rain, and solitude — the perfect setting for wildcamping and embracing the raw beauty of nature. On the first night, I stay at Hut 39, one of the remote Dano huts, and the next day I’m joined by good friends — including their 1-year-old baby on his very first camping and hiking trip! Would you ever try hiking and camping with a baby? The forest is peaceful, the air is crisp, and the lakes are covered in morning mist — autumn camping in Sweden doesn’t get much better than this. Fewer people, more connection to the wild, and a deep sense of solitude. You'll see everything from bushcraft camping, lakeside cooking, to cozy hut life — until Storm Amy rolls in, bringing intense wind and forcing us to bail from the trail due to falling trees.
