I Turned a Creepy Porcelain Doll into an Arrowhead
This project started with a challenge. While looking for unusual knappable materials, my wife Maud stumbled across an ornate porcelain plate featuring a rather unsettling doll portrait and asked a simple question: Could it be turned into a dagger while keeping the doll's eyes visible? The answer turned out to be more complicated than expected. Because of the thinness of the porcelain and the way the plate fractured, the original plan had to change. Instead of a dagger, the material naturally led towards a different form. The result is one of the strangest arrowheads I've ever made - complete with a watchful eye preserved within the finished piece. A slightly unusual experiment, but a fascinating reminder that flaking technology can work on far more than just stone. đź”— Watch more unusual knapping projects here:    • Flint Knapping - From First Flake to Maste...  🔗 Explore complete tool builds:    • Complete Tools Builds - Start to Finish Â
