Kayaking in Parc Boulahia, Tunisia

In this video we kayak and hike through Parc Boulahia, Nefza, Tunisia. We get off the bus in Nefza, located in the Beja, and walk a short distance to where we have a small but great bio breakfast waiting. It consists of gouda cheese, honey with olive oil and flat bread called tabona. All the ingredients used was sourced from the local area, hence the name, bio breakfast. We then walked to the lake created by the Sidi El Barrack Dam or Barrage where we took tuns kayaking. A fun kayak ride later we then started out main hike through the Parc Boulahia. We hike up a small hill ad then took some rest. We where not at the top so a smaller group climbed to the summit. The view from above was amazing. We got back down and continued the hike through pine woods out to the lake’s edge, we hiked down to it and through new terrain that looked like tropical forest. We tehn contined to hike all the way back out to the bus passing submerged houses that was flooded when they create the dam. The scenery was great and the hiking group was fun.
