Marina Cuollo has a degree in Biological Sciences and a PhD in Biological Processes and Biomolecules. She describes herself as a cynical, ruthless, and incredibly likeable "microwoman," a crème brûlée whose crust reveals the softness underneath. A writer ("A Disabilandia si tromba" is her debut book, published by Sperling & Kupfer), radio speaker, podcast author, and content creator, she collaborates with several publications and has a column in Vanity Fair titled "Area Marina." She addresses discrimination and prejudice related to physical disabilities through social media.
