DANIEL HERRERA I LECCIÓN ESCUELA SABÁTICA I JUNIO 7 2026

▶️ Thank you for watching this video! Lesson 11 | Sunday, June 7 THE STORMS OF LIFE Jesus had spoken all day to large crowds on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. His words would resonate in people's minds for a long time and for eternity. As evening fell, the Master turned to his disciples, inviting them to go with him "to the other side" (Mark 4:35). He knew a storm was coming, but he suggested they go anyway. He had an important life lesson to teach his closest followers. You probably remember what happened next. Reread about this storm in Mark 4:35-41. What lessons can you learn about faith? Consider the following: 1. Jesus fell asleep in a corner of the boat, possibly in the stern, where the only cushion was, serving as a seat for the one steering the boat. 2. Not all the disciples were new to sailing. Peter, James, and John were experienced fishermen. They knew the Sea of Galilee like the back of their hands, and they would have known how to handle a storm. 3. This is the only account in the Gospels that depicts Jesus sleeping. During one of the worst storms of their lives, when the disciples were terrified and thought they would die, Jesus was asleep. 4. The disciples' cry at the height of the crisis was, "Don't you care?" They were questioning Jesus' character and his love for them. Too often, this is also our response when we face difficulties. In the midst of despair, pain, or loss, we question God's love or doubt His care. We assume, from our human perspective, that He should act in a certain way. However, as happened to the disciples, it is in life's storms that God can work the greatest miracles. God is always faithful, even when His apparent inaction makes no sense to us. He is by our side in the midst of our storms and, unlike us, He can calm them. What is your usual response when you face a storm in your life? How do these moments affect your relationship with God? When have you put 2 Corinthians 5:7 into practice? #danielherrerajerez #biblelessons #sabbathschool2026 #danielherrerajerez God bless you, brothers and sisters of the Bible Lessons community. Help us spread the teachings of God's word through all these means. May the Lord bless you.
