23-06-26 EN Resistencia, más familias cuentan con el título de propiedad de las tierras que habitan

The Municipality of Resistencia is making progress in regularizing land titles in different parts of the city. To date, the Secretariat of Territorial Development has issued 340 property titles, some of which fulfill claims that have been pending for over 10 years. Elsa Peñalver, one of the residents who received her title, commented that she began the process four years ago and had been eagerly awaiting this moment. “I didn't sleep last night because I was waiting, and I'm so happy,” she said. Similarly, Ramón Oviedo noted that he had been waiting for 27 years. “It's wonderful; this brings me peace of mind, because I know that this land is finally mine,” he expressed. Miguel Ángel Carabajal also received his title and stated: “Thanks to Mayor Roy Nikisch and his entire team for this great moment, which is very important to us, because we have been waiting for this for a long time.” Like him, Pedro Torres recounted the long road he had traveled to reach this point: “I’m very happy because the Municipality fulfilled its promise,” he stated. Facundo Casco also expressed his joy: “This is a great joy, because after so many years they’re finally bringing the title to our house. I went from place to place to finish paying and to get it delivered. I’m grateful to the Municipality, and there’s still much to be done for the neighborhood,” he concluded. On behalf of the Municipality, Jerónimo Mangini, Undersecretary of Territorial Development, indicated that during each visit to the neighborhoods they speak with residents to help them continue with the paperwork to obtain their property titles, which will provide security for their families. He also noted that deliveries are made every week, and a total of 340 cases have been completed.
