Hiking in Malta on Gozo – Stage 3 of our Gozo island tour takes us from Marsalforn to Mgarr (or Mġarr). On this stage, we experience Gozo once again in all its diversity: beautiful stretches of coastline, impressive rock formations, tranquil bays, Ramla Bay, breathtaking views, and trails that were significantly more challenging than we had anticipated. At times, the terrain became extremely steep, slippery, and technically demanding – one of the toughest routes we've ever hiked. For us, this stage was a blend of incredible nature, genuine challenge, beautiful moments, and immense relief at the end.
