Before You Start Any Workout — Do This First.

Most people go straight into yoga or a workout… and then wander why their body feels tight, restricted, or even uncomfortable. But the body doesn’t open instantly. It needs to be prepared. This full body warm-up helps you gently bring the body into movement— starting from the eyes and neck, moving through the shoulders, spine, hips, and all the way down to the legs and feet. No force. No intensity. Just preparing the body the way it actually needs. ⸻ 🌿 Why warm-up matters When you take a few minutes to warm up: • Blood circulation increases, so the body doesn’t feel heavy • Joints start loosening, making movement smoother • Muscles begin to activate, instead of resisting • The nervous system settles, so the body feels safe to move • And most importantly— it helps prevent strain or injury when you go deeper into poses or workouts 🌿 In this video, we gently warm up: • Eyes & jaw (releasing subtle tension) • Neck & shoulders (reducing stiffness and holding) • Chest & spine (restoring movement) • Arms, wrists & fingers (for daily repetitive use) • Hips (which take time to open) • Legs & knees (for support and stability) • Ankles & feet (your foundation) • Core & pelvis (to support all movement) ⸻ This is not just a warm-up. It’s a way of helping your body feel ready, so movement becomes easier… and more natural. ⸻ 🌿 Part of the Yoga for Tired People series A space where we don’t push the body— we understand it. ⸻ 💬 Let me know in the comments: Do you usually skip warm-ups and go straight into practice? 📌 Save this video and come back to it before your next yoga or workout session. #yogafortiredpeople #warmuproutine #fullbodywarmup #bodypreparation #mobilitywork #gentleyoga #slowyoga #bodyawareness #stressrelief #mindbodyconnection #dailyreset #selfcarepractice #yogaflow #healingmovement #beginneryoga
