Thru Hiking The Lone Star Hiking Trail | Day 2

Lake Conroe to Huntsville West: Day 2 of a thru hike of the Lone Star Hiking Trail (LSHT) I started in the first weeks of February 2023. Along with fellow Texan backpacker Eli, of ‪@TheAdventuresofEli‬,we began our attempted 96.4 mile hike of the longest point to point trail the state of Texas has to offer. Trail conditions were quite wet after several weeks of heavy rains with temperatures fluctuating between the low 30’s and low 70’s throughout the hike.
