Thru Hiking The Lone Star Hiking Trail | Day 3

Huntsville West into the Phelps: Day 3 and resupply. This is a thru hike of the Lone Star Hiking Trail (LSHT) I started in the first weeks of February 2023. Along with fellow Texan backpacker Eli, of The Adventures of Eli, we began our attempted 96.4 mile hike of the longest point to point trail the state of Texas has to offer. Trail conditions were quite wet after several weeks of heavy rains with temperatures fluctuating between the low 30’s and low 70’s throughout the hike.
