This is my second solo trip, following Daejeon. I arrived in Daegu with a pounding heart! This time, I visited "Yeoldjip Sikdang," a yukgaejang (beef bone soup) restaurant located on "Jung-gu Market North Road" in Daegu. This restaurant, known for its yukgaejang (Korean beef soup), one of Daegu's top 10 delicacies, has been beloved by many since 1948 and has continued this tradition for 72 years. This restaurant's signature dish, yukgaejang, is made with domestically raised beef and cooked to a savory flavor. It felt like eating at my grandmother's house. The rich broth and the tender, Korean beef, a hallmark of the restaurant, were impressive. The side dishes were also delicious and home-style. It was my first time eating yukgaejang in six months, and it was so delicious that I couldn't believe how quickly I ate it. It was a day where I truly fulfilled my longing to eat as much yukgaejang as I could.
