This is the second installment of the "Gwangmani Travelogue," the "Daegu" installment. This is my second solo trip, following Daejeon. This time, I visited "Gukilttarogukbap," a hangover soup restaurant located near Exit 4 of Jungangno Station in Jung-gu, Daegu. This is Daegu's oldest hangover soup restaurant, a third-generation family business. It started in 1946 and has been in business for a whopping 75 years. Ttarogukbap is a traditional Daegu dish that's like a cross between beef soup, yukgaejang, and blood sausage soup. It's been a long time since I've had such delicious blood sausage. It was also my first time having ttarogukbap with somen noodles in blood sausage soup. I ate it all up in a jiffy, but it was so delicious. It was a bit of a shame I couldn't drink. Hahaha I think I'll stop by every time I'm in Daegu. I'm sincerely grateful to the owner for allowing me to film.
