In these times when dining out costs are skyrocketing, this is a place where you can enjoy Budaejjigae, Kimchi Jjigae, Jeyukbokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork), Tteokmandu-guk (rice cake and dumpling soup), and Yukgaejang (spicy beef soup) for just 6,000 won. Since you can order single servings of the stews, it is also a great restaurant for dining alone. At the self-service bar, you can eat as much rice and side dishes as you want, and coffee and Sujeonggwa (traditional Korean drink) are available at the entrance, so I was able to enjoy a filling meal and even get a dessert drink for just 6,000 won. True to its name, it was a truly "good" restaurant with incredible value for money. I ordered 5 servings of Budaejjigae and 3 servings of Jeyukbokkeum, and the accompanying side dishes were also delicious. Rather than feeling disappointed just because the price was affordable, I actually felt grateful throughout the meal thanks to the generous amount of ingredients and the well-structured composition.
