EL ÚLTIMO HUMEDAL de esta zona Colombiana | la laguna de sonso

Hello wonderful person reading this message, I hope you really enjoy this video. Please subscribe and support me on YouTube, and give it a thumbs up. Thank you for being here and for existing. A special greeting. Today I'm at Laguna de Sonso, one of the most important wetlands in the Cauca Valley and a true haven of life in a region that has changed a lot over time. This place is part of the Upper Cauca River Wetlands Complex, recognized as a Ramsar site, which means it has international importance for its biodiversity and its role in maintaining the water balance. It is also one of the last large remnants of the ancient wetlands that once existed in this area. As I explore the area, it's impossible not to notice how everything here is connected. There are more than 160 species of birds, some that live here and others that come from far away, as well as fish, amphibians, and vegetation that has adapted to living between water and land. Everything plays a role within this ecosystem. But beyond the data, what you feel when you're here is the most important thing: a profound calm and the feeling of being in a place that still retains its natural balance, even though it's surrounded by a lot of human intervention. Coming to Laguna de Sonso isn't just about seeing a wetland; it's about remembering how valuable it is to care for these spaces that silently sustain life. https://instagram.com/es.cesarcorrea?...
