In 2020, he launched an online Chinese tea course, making Chinese tea accessible anytime, anywhere. In 2022, he was selected as one of the 50 Japanese individuals representing the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and China, at the "Japan-China Craftsmanship Cultural Exchange Event." He lives in Shanghai, China, with his Chinese wife and a 7-year-old tea ceremony master.
