At Approximately 1517hrs ( 3:27pm ) On Sunday, November 30th, 2025, The St James Fire Department Was Toned To A Structure Fire At 178 Fifty Acre Rd On The West Side Of St James. Upon Arrival Of Chief 4-3-32 And 4-3-33, Heavy Flames Were Seen Pouring From The Roof And Garage, As Well As Upstairs Windows. As Mutual Aid Was Activated, St James Engines 4-3-3 and 4-3-1 Arrive, And Begin To Put Water On The Fire. St James Ambulances 4-3-6A & B, SJ Ladder 4-3-7, Nesconset 4-4-1, 4-4-3, Nissequogue 4-5-5, And Hauppauge Ladder 3-8-7 Arrived Shortly After, And Extinguished The Flames. A Huge Shoutout And Many Thanks Goes To The St James, Nesconset, Smithtown, Nissequogue, Stony Brook, Hauppauge, and Central Islip Fire Departments, as well as Stony Brook Medicine Medic 45, SDPS, SCPD, ESU, And Smithtown Fire Marshal. in memory of the two lost in the fire.
