STRUCTURE FIRE LONE OAK TX FULLY INVOLVED FIRECAM TAWAKONI, SOUTH HUNT CO AND LONE OAK HOSTING

Feb 14, 2025 Structure Fire in Lone Oak Texas. Arrived on scene #2 - water supply. Started to a 360 and could see through the entire structure from the Bravo side. Assisting VFDs included Tawakoni - East and West, South Hunt County VFD and Point VFD. Special Thanks to ECOR for assisting firefighters and support crew with refreshments and snacks. Resident said the fire originated in the attic. Attics are tough to access and manage. Resident also mentioned the family could smell smoke but didn't call 911 till there was a visual confirmation of flames. At that point the ceiling was falling into the living areas and the fire took off. No family or fire crews were injured . Crews stayed and performed extensive mop-up and overhaul of the scene. Red Cross was notified and the family connected with a representative.
