Yesterday, June 30, 2026, Ichikawa Zoo released an official statement. As of yesterday, Punch can choose where to eat: in the back area, near the keepers, or on Monkey Mountain, with the rest of the troop. The zoo isn't changing schedules or staff. What's changing is who makes the decision, and that difference explains everything.
