One of the most resonant news was the detention of a 25-year-old resident of the Kharkiv region, who is suspected of distributing the especially dangerous psychotropic substance PVP. According to law enforcement officers, the man had 97 prepared packages for the so-called "bookmarks". The suspect was detained in Ivano-Frankivsk after the police were called due to aggressive behavior on the territory of a gas station. A pre-trial investigation is currently underway, and the defendant faces up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property. Another topic that has caused significant public resonance is a possible increase in water supply and sewage tariffs. The utility explains: the current tariffs have not been revised since 2020, while electricity, fuel, and wage costs have increased significantly. According to preliminary calculations, the new tariff may increase almost twice. At the same time, the population's debt to the company has already exceeded 100 million hryvnias. An international forum on greening was also held in Frankivsk as part of the Ukrainian-Polish project "City Parks Matter." Representatives of Ivano-Frankivsk and Polish Rzeszów discussed modern approaches to managing green areas. The city has already conducted an inventory of the three largest parks, and the next stage will be the creation of a digital database of all green spaces. The issue pays special attention to the children of Ukrainian defenders. Ten children of servicemen, deceased, missing and captured defenders went to the Lithuanian city of Trakai for recuperation. For many of them, this is their first trip abroad and an opportunity to distract themselves from the difficult realities of war, at least for a short time. The story of the collector from Kosiv region, Bohdan Petrychuk, is no less fascinating. For over 20 years, he has been collecting, restoring and researching ancient Hutsul vyshyvankas. Today, his collection includes about 300 shirts, some of which are over 140 years old. In his own house, the man created a real museum of folk art, where not only vyshyvankas are stored, but also old photographs, ceramics, leather and metal products. According to the collector, each shirt is a separate history of the region, family and era.
