Taxpayers also remind about the opportunity to receive a tax discount for education expenses, insurance and other socially important needs. The situation in the tourism industry is no less positive. Since the beginning of the year, local budgets of the Carpathian region have received over 27 million hryvnias in tourist fees. The largest revenues are traditionally provided by the Polyanytsk, Yaremche and Vorokhtyansk communities. Experts note that even in wartime, the region remains one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Ukraine. The issue also tells about the work of law enforcement officers who completed the investigation of a number of criminal proceedings regarding the illegal acquisition and storage of prohibited psychoactive substances. The police emphasize responsibility for such offenses and continue to fight against the illegal trafficking of narcotics. Another important topic is the rehabilitation of veterans. A free physical rehabilitation center for veterans and their family members continues to operate at the Rukh stadium. Here you can get help from physical therapists, use special exercise equipment and undergo comprehensive rehabilitation after injuries and heavy physical exertion. During the first month of operation, the center has already received dozens of visitors. Important changes are also expected in the education system. Starting September 1, schools plan to introduce free hot meals for students in all grades — from the first to the eleventh. Currently, communities are analyzing the readiness of educational institutions to implement a large-scale reform that should improve the conditions for children in schools. A special place in the release is occupied by the story of master Yuriy Porokh, who has been reviving traditional Hutsul crafts for over two decades. In his own workshop, he creates authentic cheres, bakunt belts, tobivkas and other elements of folk clothing.
