This morning’s little time-lapse was a birthday one. Ordinary and extra-ordinary. 43, here in my hometown. There is something very strange about celebrating my birthday here… a kind of temporal fault, as if time were folding onto itself. I feel small and grown at once, here and elsewhere at the same time, deeply loved and also alone. Not in a sad way… but in a very unique way. All the ages of me coexist here. I am the same, yet always different. Waking up on this birthday morning feels like a quiet miracle - something both magical and completely ordinary. Here I am, again. And the immediate impulse, heart-gut desire : to step onto the mat, to move, to feel this life moving through me. To breathe into my bones, my tissues, my muscles, my skin. To stretch, to soften, to feel what I feel in this body. To massage, to fill, to empty, to let things circulate. To open the field of possibilities. To make space for this day, for myself, for whatever wants to unfold. And slowly, to feel perfectly in place - unlocked, spacious, free. To slip into this body, to feel beautiful in it, to feel alive, to feel ready. A gentle Saṃsāra. A living cycle. Coming back, yet becoming, born again - me. *** Trust your body.
