Surviving This Insane Heat WITHOUT A/C

Much of Europe is experiencing a brutal heatwave right now. We live in El Salvador, where it's over 32°C every single day, so in this week's episode we're showing you everything we do to stay cool without air conditioning. Our cousin Dan arrives to experience life in the jungle, so we take him to the beautiful waterfalls in Tamanique. Back at Salvador Valley, Dinny helps us pour another concrete floor while the French lads and I use the quad bike to spread material along the public road. We also transplant a giant conacaste tree to create shade over our new toolshed, excavate a hole to bury our ice bath, and build a homemade ice rack using scrap metal and old ceramic tiles. A huge thanks to the team who built our beautiful wooden curtains—they've completely transformed the space. Every week we're one step closer to turning this jungle into the backpacker hostel we've been dreaming of. If you'd like to support the project, subscribe and follow along. We upload a new episode every week documenting the entire journey. #ElSalvador #OffGrid #Homestead #HostelBuild #JungleLiving #TinyHouse #DIY #Travel #IceBath #NoAC
