Learn to fly safely through the Alps – the Alpine Flying Masterclass on vfrguide.de and FlightLab will help you. Today we're flying from Landshut to Portorož on the coast – with a completely absurd contrast: deep winter in the mountains, tons of snow, and rugged terrain, while to the south, suddenly, sunshine and summer vibes. Our route takes us over the Felbertauern Pass down to the Plöcken Pass, then out of the Southern Alps near Tolmezzo/Rivoli/Osoppo – and directly to the sea: to waypoint VICKY, just before the Slovenian coast. We fly over Piran (always a highlight) and then land in Portorož. In the video, I announce FlightLab: the planned add-on for the Masterclass, which will be rolled out gradually soon (currently not yet available). The idea behind it: Create flights as "missions," build routes directly or import SkyDemon, attach questions, and organize everything for shared flights via Crew Connect (updates, participants, waitlist) – without chat chaos.
