I'm on final approach to Kiel – and suddenly it goes silent. No clearance, no contact, no response. I only have 60 seconds left until landing. One minute earlier, and the whole thing would not only have been incredibly unpleasant, but also really expensive. 😅 In this video, I'll take you along on a PPL lesson that didn't go according to plan at all. I actually wanted to fly relaxed from Lübeck to Kiel, but a combination of replanning, lunch breaks, and a major mental block (keyword: reading NOTAMs!) put me in a situation where I seriously doubted my landing clearance. That's just how it is for student pilots: sometimes you have to question yourself in the cockpit – and I definitely did that on this flight.
