We ascended the valleys of the Aosta Valley, where soapstone quarried from the heart of the Alps comes to life in sculptures and stoves. The Ferrari brothers, artisan sculptors, opened the doors of their workshop to us and told us about their work: a passion passed down from their father Renzo and continued since 1987, from the creation of soapstone stoves capable of retaining heat for hours to the sculptures finished individually by hand. A craft built on precision, experience, and dedication, which lives on thanks to an authentic Aosta Valley tradition and the ability to transform every block of stone into a small work of art.
