🇹🇷 Turkey is tackling its stray dog problem... But what is really happening now? For many years, tens of thousands of stray dogs were part of everyday life in Turkey. Thanks to new legislation, that situation is changing rapidly. In this episode, we visit two very different animal shelters to see firsthand how this issue is being addressed. We are given an exclusive tour of a large dog shelter run by a private NGO that has been dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and finding homes for stray dogs for many years. By visiting different organisations, we gain a unique insight into the various ways Turkey is trying to tackle this complex issue.
