Let the worms eat your organic waste - Vermicomposting | David Witzeneder | TEDxDonauinsel

Carrying waste costs a lot of time. Organic waste is up to 50% of your bin. Worms can eat it and make fertile compost out of it. Feed your little pets directly in a wormbox in your kitchen. Odorless, saving resources and less waste to carry. David Witzeneder studied Agronomy in Austria and lived in the jungle of Costa Rica. His passion is vermicomposting. He founded the Start-Ups www.wormsystems.com and www.wurmkiste.at where he develops with his team the new generation of wormboxes. His dream is that composting with worms will be as common as having a fridge in the kitchen. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
