TAT2025 Day 22

Day 22 September 11 (Thursday) Lund, NV to Winnemucca, NV [260 miles] We stopped by an old abandoned mining town called Hamilton Ghost Town. Proceeding through more open desert, we found our first tough rutted silty section. This section claims a few victims. Made it out of the silt alive to stop in Eureka NV for lunch. There was a big rain front moving towards us and so we left for Battle Mountain hoping to be it to our destination. About 30 miles from Battle Mountain, Tony suffered the first flat tire of the TAT. It was a pinch flat on the front. Incredibly this is the first flat in about 4500 miles. The rain finally caught up to us in Battle Mountain so we took refuge at a gas station before continuing on to Winnemucca, NV. 0:00 - Introduction 0:42 - Leaving Lund 1:29 - The Squeeze 2:42 - Hamilton Mining Camp 3:34 - Drink Beer and talk about projects 3:56 - Gates, Sage and Silt 7:08 - Some kind of Burger 7:50 - Racing the rain 8:20 - Goat Trail Part 2 8:54 - Pinch flat Willett 10:10 - We gotta go. 11:37 - Conclusion
