TAT2025 Day 26

Day 26 September 15 (Monday) Diamond Lake, OR to Port Orford, OR [257 miles] FINAL DAY - Diamond Lake was 32 deg f in the morning (coldest temperature of the trip) so we waiting until 10am to depart. Forest Service Roads were a pleasure to end the TAT ride (with the exception of a massive hole in the road 40 miles from the end) We arrived in Port Orford just before 6pm, ending the TAT ride 2 days earlier than we estimated. With childlike excitement we played in the sand on the beach. Luckily there was not a "NO GOONS ALLOWED ON THE BEACH" sign. Mark and Tony dropped their bikes in the deep sand on the beach. 0:00 - Introduction 0:42 - Start the morning right 3:20 - In the clear 6:23 - Hard to port on the Tiller 7:15 - A little jaunt down the 5 8:00 - Azalea gas stop 8:42 - Catch me if you can 11:35 - Near miss 11:45 - Is this the big one? 13:53 - It's all down hill from here. 15:00 - The home stretch 15:46 - The Finale! 16:37 - Beach Goons 18:06 - So that's it 18:30 - Beach Party 20:17 - Final Toast 20:35 - Dr Chopper says... 20:45 - End Credits 21:55 - Special Guests 22:15 - sTATs 22:27 - END
