For the past 5 months, the Kyiv City Military Administration has been headed by Tymur Tkachenko. His team has done many commendable things — protecting the Memorial of Remembrance on Independence Square, evacuating burned vehicles after Russian strikes, and firing the first deputy and the administration's spokesperson due to inefficiency and scandals. However, there are quite a few people on the team who raise concerns. For example, Tymur Tkachenko’s first deputy — Colonel Mykola Shvets — is accused of embezzling funds intended for the military. Tkachenko’s advisor, Andrii Andrieiev, is linked to former Opposition Platform – For Life member Vadym Stolar.
