Marathon #50 | Four Weeks Out - And I Can't Run
Marathon #50 is four weeks away… and I’m not running... much. This wasn’t the plan. After building momentum over the past few months, a stubborn ankle injury has forced a rethink. The goal hasn’t changed — but the way I get there has. In this episode, I talk about: training through injury (and when not to) shifting from volume to consistency why the real metric now is how long I can stay uninjured and what it means to chase performance in your late 60s There’s still a marathon ahead. But the bigger goal? Seeing what’s possible at 70. For now, it’s time to adapt, stay patient… and keep moving forward. I can't outrun my old self. I just have to outsmart the current one. #parkrun #mastersrunning #marathontraining #runningover60 #agegrading
