Hot summer day's on the water ep43

Welcome back to Monday to Monday! This week is another busy one, packed with progress, family moments, and plenty of time on the water. We kick things off by fixing a diesel leak, making sure everything is safe and reliable before moving on to the next jobs. Over on Ruby, we start measuring the benches to prepare for the interior, while also removing the old electrical wiring. Replacing outdated wiring is an important step toward building a safer and more dependable boat. Another big milestone is taking the mast off Ruby, giving us much better access to continue the restoration. With the mast out of the way, it's finally time to add the first coat of paint inside the wheelhouse. Watching the fresh paint go on after all the preparation is incredibly satisfying, and by the end of the week, we even complete the final painting inside Ruby. It's amazing to see the transformation taking shape. Not everything this week is about boat projects. We also take a break to celebrate the wedding of a good friend, enjoying a special day with family and friends. Back on the water, Dompie, our little tugboat, is put back to work as we bring her to the local scouting group. And of course, with the beautiful weather, we couldn't resist spending a day on the water with the kids, cruising through the beautiful Dutch waterways and making memories together. Another week filled with restoration, adventure, family, and life on the water. Thank you for watching and supporting our journey.
