Starting in the historic city of Bradford on Avon, we slowly made our way through the English countryside up to Bath, navigating locks, passing centuries-old canal villages, and learning what life is really like on the water. Along the way we discovered the fascinating history behind this 200-year-old canal, met fellow boaters, and embraced a much slower pace of travel. From early mornings with coffee on deck to the challenge of learning to work locks by hand, this journey gave us a side of England we never would have experienced by car or train.
