⛵️ I Tried Boiling Water Out of My Boat... It Actually Worked - sort of?!

I've been trying to solve one of the biggest challenges in the restoration of my 1989 Liberty 458 sailboat, Antidote: a water-soaked fiberglass transom. This week I push my vacuum drying experiment even further by adding heat to see if I can remove trapped moisture—and maybe even some of the glycols left behind by fiberglass hydrolysis. Along the way I install the first prototype threaded stanchion backing block, revisit the rebuilt Yanmar engine and our Newport sailboat project, and finally get some encouraging results from this unusual repair method. *Huge Thanks to Terramow for helping me get some of my precious time back with the V1000.
