Demonstration of 'Buff stop' on historical English harpsichord

Demonstration of the 'buff stop' on an 18th century English harpsichord by Longman & Broderip. The instrument is part of the Benton Fletcher collection which is hosted in the Fenton House in London. In the introduction part of the video I give some information about the instrument. The amazing Ben Marks looks after the Benton Fletcher collection weekly and makes it one of the best playing collections of historical keyboards in the world. Because of this inevitable external factor and the fact that my visit happened several days after Ben's visit to the house, the tuning of the instrument is not as perfect as it would otherwise normally be.
